Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Doomless : Screen Time & Focus (“Doomless”, the “App”), with Android package name com.pjamalama.blocked, published on Google Play by PjamaLama(the “developer”, “we”, “us”).
Doomless is a mindfulness-based screen time and app blocker. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We're committed to collecting only what's necessary to provide the service.
Data We Collect
Locally on your device (always)
- The list of apps you choose to block and their per-app mode settings
- Aggregate usage metrics: number of opens resisted, times you chose to proceed, hourly and daily patterns, and per-app counts. We store counts and timestamps — never the content of what you were doing in those apps.
- Your onboarding quiz answers (used to personalise your experience)
If you sign in with Google (optional)
- Your name and email address provided by Google Sign-In
- Your block rules and onboarding profile are synced to your account on our cloud database (Firebase Firestore) so your settings can be restored across devices
Product analytics (always)
To understand how the App is used and improve it — especially which onboarding steps people complete or drop off at — we collect anonymous usage events: screens viewed, onboarding steps reached, and key actions (e.g. viewing the subscription screen). We collect which step you reach — never your onboarding quiz answers or any sensitive content. This includes basic technical data (device model, OS version, app version) and a randomly-generated analytics identifier. If you sign in, these events are associated with your account ID so we can understand the experience across your devices. This data is never used for advertising and never sold.
Subscription (if you subscribe)
Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat. We do not process or store payment information directly. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
Accessibility Service
Doomless requires Android's Accessibility Service to detect when you open a blocked app and show the intervention screen. This permission is used only to watch for app-launch events matching your blocklist. We do not read the content of any app, capture keystrokes, read notifications, or monitor any activity beyond detecting which app is in the foreground.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
Third-Party Services
- Firebase (Google) — Authentication and cloud database. Used only if you sign in.
- RevenueCat — Subscription management.
- Google Sign-In — Account authentication.
- PostHog — Product analytics. Processes usage events on our behalf. PostHog Inc. is based in the United States; if you are in the EU/UK, your analytics data is transferred to the US under PostHog's data-processing terms.
Data Storage & Security
All usage metrics and block rules are stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences. If you sign in, your rules and onboarding profile are additionally stored in Firebase Firestore, protected by security rules that allow only your account to read or write your data.
Account & Data Deletion
- You can delete all local data by uninstalling the app.
- If you signed in with Google, you can request deletion of your account and all associated cloud data at any time. See our Account & Data Deletion page for step-by-step instructions. We delete your Firestore record within 30 days of a verified request.
Children
Doomless is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be communicated within the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
